“ A great spot in LR for Honduran food! I usually get 1-2 pupusas and it is plenty. All of their food is fresh and delicious. The servers are always very nice and attentive. The front room is great for smaller parties while the back room has a ton of space for larger parties, children, and people who want to play games (pool, ping pong). Overall, a great spot to visit in Little Rock. ”

“ Y'all -- this is the best meal I've had. Ever. So comforting, so satisfying, the perfect mix of energy-fueling foods and straight up comfort food! plus!! Gluten free!! This place has amazing ratings on the find me gluten free app and I see why!! It's so easy to order things that have no risk of contamination and taste amazing here!! I can't have gluten or dairy, and it was super easy to find multiple things I could have that I actually wanted!! The people at the register were very nice and the atmosphere was communal and homey while not being cramped at all. We will 100% be back any time we can be!! We got the rice plate with carnitas and tortillas, two arepas (like a corn pancake stuffed with meat and cheese, and yuka fries (starchy root vegetable like a potato but with a better texture). I can't stress this enough: get something that has tortillas. It doesn't matter what. The texture of the corn tortillas is literally TO DIE FOR!! ”

“ El Sur is located in a lively little space on Main and has really welcoming staff, who were incredibly patient with my myriad of questions (It isn't everyday that one gets to have Honduran food in Arkansas!). I had dinner last night there with a friend and was incredibly impressed with what their menu offers, as well as the strength of the Sopa de Pollo that I ordered. It was the ultimate January comfort food with the most perfect presentation. I will be coming back! I also tried a bite of the carne asada arepa, which I will 100% be ordering when I return. ”
“ This place is special - you can tell they care about their food. If you're unsure what to get, the staff is friendly and will offer great suggestions. You can tell it's a safe space that cares about its community! My favorite items are the Pollo Chuco and the Baleada Con Todo with Al Pastor, but I truly don't think you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's a must-visit in Little Rock! ”
“ I was a bit surprised at how hipster and New Age-y the place was, but it was good food. Their cuisine is Central American and vegetarian-friendly, and while I was a bit dismayed that one of their filling options was cauliflower, they also had cactus. The menu had decent variety, albeit some confusion (notably a side salad was offered in their online menu, but I didn't see it in-store and fortunately was full without it). What I tried was a baleada, which they advertise as being "better" than a burrito, and I have to say it was pretty impressive. Plantains, avocado, and some delicious refried beans accompanied my ample cactus, creating a taste both dynamic and satisfying. The drinks didn't quite convince me ($5 for a Topo Chico is a bit bunch), but I was happy with what I ordered. ”
